Actually this is not going to be a conventional FAQ but will be a general discussion about our fundamental approach to the work we do.

In our opinion individuals and small businesses are being ripped off by web design business that offer very poor design, largely derived from free templates with minimal customisation. The fees range from a couple of hundred euros for a 3 or 4 page website to literally thousands of euros for something more substantial.

We began building our own websites back in 1995 and since that time have used paid services as well as developing our own skills. As a small business operating in the field of natural healthcare since 1984 we know all about the challenges of being self employed. We have had to learn accounting, brochure design and production, marketing and promotion.

Financing within a small business is always a challenge and in 2011 getting a quality, functional website is so important to running a successful business. Most often the cost seems prohibitive or if you go for a total bargain basement product its not worth even the small amount of time, effort and money that goes into it. What we offer is good solid design and functionality at an excellent price. Web design and building is not the only thing we do, so we do not offer specialised services such as SEO (beyond basic keywords) and websites requiring a lot of detailed coding.

How much input do I have over the design and look of my web site?

We discuss your requirements with you. We won't persuade you to have a more complicated site than you need, on the other hand if you want a high end website with membership facilities, complex data display, advanced permissions and many pages then we can offer that. We like to know what you like in terms of colour and layout and we design for the content of the website, however our designs are not run of the mill so if you just want lots of pretty flowers then you probably need to go elsewhere.

I just need a simple website with maybe 3 or 4 pages how much wil it cost me?

We can offer you a good deal on a very simple set up. Call us and we will give you a precise figure once we know what you actually want but we can usually quote you less than 200 euros. Nor will we tie you into a yearly contract.
